Registered Office Services

A proper business address, so yours stays private

A professional registered office address for your limited company, with post handled and statutory mail acted on. Keep your home address off the public register.

Every UK limited company needs a registered office. It goes on the public register, it appears on Companies House, and anyone can look it up in about four seconds.

For a lot of small business owners, that address is currently their kitchen table. Which works fine until it’s on the internet forever, attached to your name, and you’d rather it weren’t.

What we offer

  • Use our address at Gilbury House, Lostwithiel as your company’s registered office. Your home address stays off the public record, your company looks established, and your official post goes somewhere it will actually be read.

  • We receive everything, tell you what’s arrived and — for anything statutory — do something about it. A Companies House notice or an HMRC letter doesn’t sit in a pile waiting for you to get to it. It lands with people who know what it means and what the deadline is.

The rules changed, and it matters

Office

Companies House now requires an “appropriate address” for every registered office. In plain terms, that means somewhere post can be delivered and acknowledged by a real person.

PO boxes no longer qualify. Neither do some of the cheaper virtual address services. If your registered office isn’t appropriate, Companies House can change it to a default address — and that’s a short path to enforcement action and strike-off proceedings.

Every company also needs a registered email address on file, which Companies House uses for official correspondence. If nobody’s checking it, that’s a problem waiting to happen.

We cover both.

Who this suits

Freelancers and consultants working from home. Anyone whose business is genuinely mobile — trades, delivery, services. New companies that want to look settled from day one. Anyone who’s realised their home address is sitting on a public register and would like to fix that.

Better with everything else

The service works hardest alongside our statutory filings and company accounts work. Your post arrives with us, we spot what needs doing, and we do it. Nothing falls through the gap between “letter received” and “letter understood”.

Ring 01208 622402 and we’ll explain how it works and what it costs.
