Payroll, CIS & Auto-Enrolment
Payroll and CIS, run properly
RTI payroll, CIS contractor and subcontractor returns, and pension auto-enrolment compliance for small businesses. Your team paid right, every time.
Paying people is the one area where getting it wrong is immediately, personally noticeable. Your team spots a wrong payslip instantly, and HMRC spots a late submission almost as fast.
We run payroll for businesses of every size — from a two-director company taking a modest salary to twenty staff on varied hours and overtime.
Payroll
We handle the whole cycle: gross-to-net calculations, RTI submissions to HMRC on or before each payday, payslips, starters and leavers, P45s and P60s.
Plus all the bits that come up and throw people: statutory sick pay, maternity and paternity pay, student loan deductions, attachment of earnings orders, holiday pay for irregular hours. You send us the changes, we do the rest.
We’ll also tell you what an employee actually costs you, all in — employer National Insurance and pension included — which is the number that matters when you’re deciding whether you can afford to hire.
Auto-enrolment compliance

Workplace pensions are a legal duty, not an optional extra, and The Pensions Regulator does enforce it.
If a member of staff is aged 22 to State Pension age and earns over £10,000 a year, you must automatically enrol them in a qualifying scheme and contribute. The minimum is 8% of qualifying earnings in total, of which at least 3% comes from you as the employer.
We assess your workforce each pay period, enrol anyone who becomes eligible, handle opt-outs and re-enrolment, manage the communications you’re legally required to send, and file your declaration of compliance. It ticks along quietly in the background, which is exactly where it should be.
CIS — Construction Industry Scheme
CIS catches people out constantly, and the penalties are brutal for how small the mistakes usually are.
If you’re a contractor: verify every subcontractor with HMRC, deduct at the right rate (20%, 30% or gross), file a monthly return by the 19th and issue payment statements. Miss the deadline and there’s a £100 penalty the very next day — even for a nil return, even in a month when you paid nobody.
If you’re a subcontractor: you’ve had deductions taken all year and there’s a decent chance you’re owed a refund. We make sure you actually claim it rather than leaving your money sitting with HMRC.
We handle both sides, including the verification calls and the monthly filing.
